Round 2 of organizing wisdom: Life is for living, not clutter. Shop with purpose, ask 'Need or want?', and remember—it’s just an object. Follow Christina's Corner!

Video Transcript

Hi, everybody. I am back for round 2 of more quotes that I love, and I brought my coffee, so I hope you have yours. And this is just gonna be more quotes that I wrote that I hope you rethink everything you thought you knew about clutter and getting organized. Are you ready? Round 2.

Life was certainly not meant to be filled with clutter, decluttering, and going through stuff. I think this is really important to remember because life was made for so much more. And in part 1 of this video, I wrote I said that it is more than just a closet, and I stand by that because it is. It's more than just a closet. We're not supposed to be going through clutter forever and ever and ever.

That's why it's so important to have an organized system and have a process so that you don't have to do this all the time, and that you can really focus on everything that truly matters. Next one, have a list with a purpose. This has to do with shopping. When you enter a store, you need to have a reason of why you're shopping and have a list of what you need. This prevents from overbuying and overduplicates.

I can't tell you how many times I was at a client's house and they had 4 of the same thing. Quite literally the same thing. And so many times we just we don't know where something is, and we don't remember that we had it. Shopping with a purpose is really, really important. Next, ask yourself, do I need this or do I want this?

I have to work on this. I think I think a lot of us do. Right? But this is a really, really important one to always remember, and it's gonna help control that clutter. And last, it's just an object.

It holds meaning because of what you place in it. I think that might be one of the most important quotes that I can think of because it really is at the epicenter of clutter. We're holding on to something because we feel like we need it and it's so important. And it's really, really important to remember that you're the only one that's placing importance on that object. What matters to you probably doesn't matter to me and vice versa.

And I think that's really important for us to have that awareness and that bird's eye view to re remember. I'm the one that's saying that this is really important, and maybe I have to ask myself why I think it's so important, and that will help you let it go. That was round 2 of my organizing quotes. I hope you can relisten to this. Drink your coffee.

Quotes. I hope you can relisten to this, drink your coffee, and just maybe rethink this process, and I hope it switches your mindset a little bit. Have a wonderful day. Happy organizing everybody. Follow Christina's Corner for more tips and tricks of how to get organized.
