In the upper left hand corner, click the third icon from the left that looks like a disk.See this quick video

When you are finished designing, click on "continue to review" in the lower right corner. Then click the orange "add to shopping cart" button in the lower right corner.

There are two places you may be able to find your design.

1. You may have it as a PDF in your downloads folder on your computer, named "Installation".

2. Your login to the design tool is separate from your Modular Closets account. You need to sign into the 17squares app to get your design. Please follow the steps below to do so: Modular Closets Website -> Design Your Closet-> Design Your Own closet.

This opens the 17squares app. Click on the "Welcome" and use the folder icon on the top left to sign in and open your designs.

When you open a saved design, it opens in review mode.

To return to design mode, click on "back to floorplan" in the lower left corner, then click "design closet" in the lower right hand corner.

After you click on "create closet," then, in the upper left hand corner, click on "Towers." When you click on any given tower, you will see all of our module options on the right hand side. You can then swap the tower you selected with any one of those.

Click on the edit components tab on the left-hand panel.

Click and drag the accessory you want into place

To delete a tower - make sure you are in the "Towers" tab on the left hand panel. Click on the tower you want to delete to highlight it. Click on the X that appears in the top right corner of the tower.

Make sure you have the towers tab selected on the left-hand panel.

Click on the tower to highlight it. Then click and drag the arrow on either side to resize the tower.

If the tower turns red, that means the size you selected is not available.

Switch to the Towers tab on the left-hand panel.

Click on the tower you want to change to highlight it.

You can change it for a different unit by choosing the unit you want from the panel on the right.

To resize a tower click and drag on the arrows to either side. If the tower turns red, that means the size you selected is not available.

To delete a tower, highlight it and click on the red X.

Click "back to floorplan" in the lower left corner. You can add doors or windows by clicking on the door/window in the panel on the left and dragging it into place. To add a wall, click on a wall to highlight it, then click on the red + to split the wall in two. You can change the position of a wall by clicking and dragging.

Click on "back to the floorplan" in the lower eft hand corner, click on the door to highlight it, then click on "door swing" on the panel on the right to choose the direction.

You'll need to click on "back to the floorplan" in the lower eft hand corner, then click on "design closet" in the lower right hand corner. That should bring you back to the design.

Without highlighting any of the towers, under "Modular Options" on the right hand panel, click on finish and choose the color you like.

The design tool will not accept a 0. Use 0.125

The design tool will not allow you to move the tower up or down. Our units are 71.25" tall, and are designed to be hung at 84" from the floor, but can be hung higher or lower if necessary.
Standard in the industry is to have the top of the closet installed 84 inches off the ground.

Make sure you're in the "Edit Components" tab on the left. Click on the doors to highlight them, then click the red X in the top corner.

The pants racks are designed to fit into our towers, not the double hanging. The design tool will not allow you to put it there.
If you'd like to install it in the bottom of the double hang you can, but there are a few important things to keep in mind:

1. You'll need to drill your own holes.
2. The slides will stick out 3/4 inch from the unit because of the cleat at the back of the unit
3. Make sure the double hanging unit is 19.5", 25.5" or 31.5"
4. You'll need to add it to your cart separately because the design tool won't allow it

Troubleshoot:

Do they have a 0" return wall? Use 0.125" instead.

Is the closet less than 30" wide?

Make sure the length of the door + return walls equal to the back wall.

You can create a different shape closet in floor plan mode.

Our standard towers are 71.25" tall, usually hung at 84" above the ground (and that's how the tool positions it by default).

You can technically stack a 36" short tower above a standard tower, but the design tool is not programmed to show it.

You'll need to add them to your cart separately.

If you're still in "Floorplan Mode", click on "Design Closet" in the lower right hand corner.

Troubleshoot. Is the closet less than 84" tall? Do they have less than 19.5" of wall space? Are they trying to add a tower too close to a tower in the corner of the next wall?

The design tool won't let you add extra shelves/drawers.

You'll need to add them to your cart separately.
