They helped me put the order together, tweaked it to my needs. It arrived labeled and ready to go. I ran out of time and requested an installer at the last minute who did a super job or installing. Can the units be extended to the ceiling line as seen in some pictures on the website?

Currently, we do not have a method to extend Milano units higher.

Do the units have backing?

No, the units do not have backing. As a premium product, Milano is not shipped with a thin cardboard backing. It is designed to be installed against your finished wall.

Do the units sit flush to the wall, and do I have to remove floor base molding?

The Milano system is best installed against the wall, so we recommend removing the baseboard. However, if you prefer not to remove it, there is a workaround. Every Milano unit comes with a 0.75" spacer that allows the units to be installed away from the wall.

How much weight can each shelf/unit hold?

Each shelf is designed to hold up to 75 lbs.

How thick is the board?

7/8" / 22mm

How thick is the premium board mentioned?

Unlike the standard 0.50" to 0.75" thickness used by our competitors, our boards are 7/8" (0.875") thick.

Is the glass shatterproof?

The mirror is a premium 3mm thick mirror, but it is not shatterproof.

What are the available finishes?

White

The exterior width will depend on how many units you have. The accurate width will be displayed in the product configurator.
