Christina's Corner // Closed Storage Will Save Your Garage!

Today we’re tackling the biggest Garage Clutter Busters! Close the door on your clutter with Christina’s Clutter Buster Tips.
One of the most frustrating things for me is having no place to store the big, bulky items that clutter up my home. Items that I need easy access to but are difficult to store like packages of paper towels and toilet paper, workout equipment, and small kitchen appliances, end up being stored in my garage. But, even in there, it can get unorganized and cluttered very quickly.

But, of course, I have a solution. As a professional Organization Coach, I highly recommend cabinets. I know it doesn’t sound revolutionary but stick with me and I promise it will all make sense.
The Problematic Garage
The garage is notorious for being difficult to organize. It’s probably because we are usually trying to balance storage and space for cars, bicycles and other seasonal items. We store our bulkier items there because we don’t want them taking up space in the house and it can very easily become a catch-all room. But it is possible to have plenty of storage, an uncluttered space, and plenty of room for your car. All you need is our Modular Closets organizer system with cabinets.
Why Modular Closets?
Each and every space is unique, especially the garage. Often, those cookie-cutter shelving units don’t fit each and every inch of your garage, providing exactly the type of storage that fits your individual needs.
What’s great about Modular Closets systems is that it can be customized to fit your space seamlessly. Whether you need the unit along one wall or three, Modular Closets has you—and your clutter covered! Also, each unit has storage options specifically geared toward different needs. So, if you want something out of sight, you can just store it in one of the cabinet units and close the door to clutter!
Closed Storage is Necessary
It’s not that you should feel like you have to hide things in your garage, but if you want to maintain an organized space, visual clutter is just as damaging as physical clutter.
Keeping your items in cabinets eliminates the visual clutter and allows for peace of mind. Now, that doesn’t mean you can ignore the inside of the cabinets and let them be chaotic forever, but it gives you extra time you may need. You also get the added bonus of adjustable shelving so you really can store just about anything you need to!
